Arts week

ArtsMemphis is proud to announce its second annual Arts Week, a week-long celebration to showcase Memphis’ vibrant and diverse collection of artists and arts organizations. This year’s Arts Week hosts highly anticipated performances and confident in-person experiences from over a dozen ArtsMemphis grantees. ArtsMemphis will feature and amplify the testimonials, tributes and performances posted during Arts Week on its Facebook and Instagram channels.

Truman Capote Christmas souvenir

As part of the Southern Literary Fairs series, this special hour features readings, scenes and curated discussions exploring the work of Truman Capote Christmas souvenir. This show will feature Capote interviews, correspondence, never-before-seen dialogue and a cocktail or two with Stephanie Shine.

Christmas in Saint-Pierre with Memphis Choral Arts

This 10th annual Christmas concert will highlight old and new traditions of Christmas carols with carols from Wessex and Sussex, bringing together all current and past singers of Memphis Choral Arts. The four ensembles – the Men’s Memphis Chorale, the Memphis Women’s Chorale, the Memphis Children’s Chorale and the Memphis Youth Chorale – will come together for the special homecoming reunion. The concert will end with a song for its grand finale and a festive reception will follow.

Professional Wine Evening

Head to the Overton Square Theater District for a spectacular networking event. Connect with local Mid-South professionals, business leaders and startups while enjoying wine and light snacks to start the evening off right. Participants will receive discounted tickets for Little shop of horrors.

Ballet Memphis’ Nutcracker

Nutcracker returns to the Orpheum stage this season with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra live in a magical performance. Follow the Mouse King, the Plum Fairy and Clara as you take you through the famous vacation fantasy.
