New Leadership Roles Drive Growth of World-Class Content Offerings for Consumer Goods and Retail IT Leaders

Goodman has been reporting on retail technology and trends for nearly over a decade. She leverages her cross-channel content creation skills and passion for the industry to provide RIS News audiences with insightful insights into retail trends, woven into concise distillations of actionable insights. She joined Consumer Goods Technology and RIS News as Editor-in-Chief in 2015 and was promoted to Editor-in-Chief in 2020. Goodman recently developed The front line, a bi-monthly text newsletter conveniently delivering the best retail industry news via smartphone. Previously, she was editor-in-chief and web director of PL Buyer magazine. She has also covered retail, consumer goods, private label and luxury real estate for several B2B and consumer outlets.

Johnston has covered the technology, retail and consumer goods sectors for businesses and consumers for over 20 years. She joined Consumer Goods Technology and RIS News as Editor-in-Chief in 2020 and played a leadership role in executing the strategic vision of connecting the Consumer Goods Technology and RIS News communities. In May 2021, Johnston was promoted to editor of Consumer Goods Technology. Johnston also played a key leadership role in the CGT/RIS Executive Council and most recently collaborated with the content team to launch the award-winning Consumer Goods Technology / RIS News Tech Transformation video and podcast series. Previously, Johnston was head of strategic content for Sourcing Journal and Rivet and had a long career at TWICE.
