Corpus Christi International Airport Featured in Business View Magazine

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Corpus Christi International Airport (CCIA) is set for more growth in 2022. That’s according to a recent article in Business Week Magazine. The magazine called Corpus Christi the “Gulf Coast Capital” of southwest Texas. He cited the importance of the CCIA as the city has become a desirable district for business and leisure.

A recently launched five-year terminal refurbishment program is also mentioned which will replace some airport infrastructure and incorporate state-of-the-art toilets and improved seating throughout. Each seat will also be equipped with its own power supply. There are plans to add a nursing room, service animal rescue station, outdoor patio, new restaurants and new gift shops. This is a major and much anticipated update.

“Corpus Christi International Airport is the gateway to the capital of the Gulf Coast,” said Mayor Paulette M. Guajardo. “Being featured in this article is fantastic for our tourism industry and for local businesses. “

The CCIA has a ready-to-use Category 5 terminal that can accommodate between 200 and 300 people in an emergency. They also train airport staff in identifying and combating trafficking in human beings.
