Casper raises Emilie Arel as CEO »BedTimes Magazine

Emilie Arel, President and Chief Commercial Officer of Casper, took up her role as Managing Director on November 15.

Arel has over 20 years of leadership experience in retail, merchandising, customer experience and marketing. Prior to joining the New York-based direct-to-consumer mattress brand in 2019, Arel served as CEO of Fullbeauty Brands, a plus size clothing company, where she led the business through debt restructuring and has set the company on a path to digital transformation, Casper said in a press release. Previously, she was CEO of Quidsi, an Amazon company with 10 brands, including Diapers.com and Soap.com. Earlier in her career, Arel spent seven years at Gap Inc. where she held several positions and managed a team of over 12,000 employees and over 220 stores. Prior to joining Gap, Emilie held various positions at Target Corp.
